Getting oriented
Where you are
Midland is the county seat of Midland County, right on Interstate 20. The town started as the midway point between Fort Worth and El Paso on the Texas and Pacific Railway, and folks call it the Tall City for its downtown skyline.
Odessa is the next city west on I-20, and the two share Midland International Air & Space Port, which sits about halfway between them. Both are in the heart of the Permian Basin.
Getting to the park
Rangers RV Park is on the south side of Midland, south of I-20 and southeast of downtown.
From I-20, take Exit 136 and head south on Rankin Highway (State Highway 349). Turn east onto County Road 140, and look for the long wooden fence.
Downtown Midland is about 6 miles away, roughly 10 to 15 minutes.
