How we handle your information

This page explains what the Rangers RV Park website (rangersrvmidland.com) collects, why, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, give us a call at (432) 260-7556.

What you send us through the forms

The website has two forms, one for questions and one for maintenance requests from residents. When you send one, we receive:

• Your name and phone number
• Your email address, if you choose to give it
• For a question: how many RVs you are bringing, if you tell us, and your message
• For a maintenance request: your spot number, the kind of problem, and your description of it

The form sends your message by email to the park's office and manager inboxes, which use Gmail from Google. The website itself does not save your message in a database. We use what you send only to call or email you back, answer your question, or take care of the repair.

Only the people who run the park read these messages. We keep them only as long as we need them to help you.

The forms also include a hidden spam check that records nothing about you. It only helps us tell real people apart from automated spam.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with anyone outside the park unless the law requires it.

Google Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the website, for example how many people visit, which pages they look at, and whether they tap a phone number or send a form. This helps us keep the site useful. Google Analytics uses small files called cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit, the type of device and browser you use, and your general area (city level). It does not give us your name, and we do not try to identify you.

Google processes this information under its own policies. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

You can stop Google Analytics from collecting information about your visits in any of these ways:

• Install Google's opt-out browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings
• Use a private or incognito window

The site also remembers one small setting in your browser: whether you paused the moving pictures at the top of each page. That choice stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Maps, fonts and video

• Google Maps. The map on our Contact page comes from Google Maps. When it loads, Google may receive your IP address and may set its own cookies. The directions links open Google Maps, which follows Google's privacy policy.
• Fonts. The lettering on the site loads from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to get it.
• Video. The video at the top of the home page is stored on our own website. It does not come from YouTube or any other video service.
• Facebook. Links to our Facebook page take you to Facebook, which has its own privacy policy.

Children

This website is meant for adults looking for an RV spot. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this page

If we change how the website handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
